Long time no see! Sorry for my extended absense, but problems kept me away from the blogging activity for the past month.
Finally I can see the end of the road for the Dresden quilt
, which has occupied my for almost 5 months. I’ve cut all the missing sashing pieces, I already have in my hands the backing fabric and the batting (which I have waited for some time) and now only 4 squares (out of 24) are left to applique….Yeah! An all this only for the top…
I am planning on hand quilting the whole project, so there is still a long way to go.
Well the original quilt from Material Obsession was our first inspiration….I am in love with yours..
I’ve just posted my finished dresden quilt in the Flickr group and saw yours, lovely fabrics, I think we have similar tastes! check mine out at http://drinkingfabric.blogspot.co.uk/
Thank you Wendi! Well, the circle is 6 1/2 inches diameter.
These look lovely! Can’t wait to see the finished quilt, with dresdens like that I know it will be beautiful! what size center circle did you use? It looks about 4 inch.
I love it! great job! I can’t wait to see the finished quilt!
