My first time EVER entering a BOM (Block of the Month) Quilt-A-Long! And I am really excited to be participating in this one, as it will last all year long, and the goal is to learn many many techniques and “build up” your quilting skills.
It is hosted and organised by Alyssa Lichner at Pile’O’Fabric.com,whom I have been following since she began her amazing blog. Thank you so much Alyssa for this wonderful QAL!
I went for a white background for these blocks, as I have a lot of spare white, but it also matched best with the small floral prints I wanted to use for this project.
You can view the progress of the BOM and its members at our Flickr Group.

Thank you Martina for your kind comments!
I love your SBB-Blocks, the fabrics remind me of Liberty/London and the blocks look so fresh with a touch of spring 😉
Thank you so much! Rushing to the Flickr Group to search for your progress! Have a nice day
Hi!! I am in the skill builder BOM with you!!! Glad to find your blog!!! Your blocks are very pretty!!! I love your fabrics!!!
Love the block .
Love the fabrics you used!
Hi there! I also blogged about my skill builder blocks last week. Fun BOM I think. I have never done one before either. I love the fabric you picked!
I am dying to see her videos!!! Can’t wait to try the quilt-as-you-go method!
I was wondering how these blocks would look with fabrics that were not solids. They look beautiful. Are you curious too about the FMQ lesson tommorow?
Those blocks are great. I really love the fabrics you chose.
