The idea for the Flowerpath quilt came through my YouTube Channel “The Quilt Codex” while I was scheduling for my next video tutorials. I loved this “star” design from the first time I tried it! And I hope you’ll love it too!
Meet the Flowerpath quilt
The pattern is straightforward, with no surpises. It is made using 2 different units, sewn together for the final quilt block. You can find the pattern in the Shop.
The pattern works great with Fat quarters as well as Half Yards. All fabric requirements are clearly stated.
What about this quilt?
This version of the Flowerpath quilt was commisioned by a lovely lady that wanted to give it as a graduation gift to her niece!
Choosing the fabrics for this version was really easy, I just matched the fabulous Cotton & Steel collection of Sarah Watts, August, with matching cotton solids!
Machine Quilting
I machine quilted this version of the Flowerpath quilt, in a 2-inch grid and then crosshatched those in a 1-inch grid. Fanatastic result!
